Hi, I’m Karolina—but friends (and now you) can call me Kay.

I’m the founder of Picks & Nibbles, catering built on a deep love for good food, thoughtful presentation, and unforgettable gatherings. Whether it’s an elegant corporate meeting, or a cosy private celebration, I believe every event deserves extra touch that makes people stop and say, “Wow, this looks incredible.”

My journey here wasn’t exactly a straight line. I’ve been a professional photographer for as long as I can remember, always drawn to beautiful detail and storytelling through photographs. A few years ago, while working as an OP for an events company, I fell in love with a new kind of creativity: crafting grazing tables that looked as good as they tasted. Think vibrant spreads, seasonal fruits & vegetables, and edible centrepieces that spark conversation and bring people together.

After some (gentle) nudging from loved ones and lots of recipe testing with my two Samoyed sidekicks, Milo and Estel, I finally turned the idea into reality—and so Picks & Nibbles was born.

Now, I get to combine my experience in events, photography, and food styling to help clients host with confidence and style. From bespoke grazing tables for brand launches to hand-delivered party boxes for birthdays and baby showers, everything is made with care, colour, and a whole lot of flavour.
